Get to know me

Drawn towards new mothers and babies since a young age, I was a family-focused social worker in my early career. Having three babies of my own in just over four years taught me the importance of a strong support network. I had very different birth and postnatal experiences, ranging from feeling abandoned and overwhelmed with my first, to feeling empowered and capable with my last. Wanting to support other women in and around giving birth, I trained as a Labour Doula and worked in that capacity for over 15 years. Since 2020 I have concentrated on Postnatal Doula work in the Geneva area. I am a gentle, empathetic person with excellent reflective listening skills. Offering nurturing care for mum, dad, and baby, I am passionate about helping new families have their best start possible. In my own time I like to garden, laugh with my family, travel, read and bake. I dream of owning a camper van.
